Does ATLYSS have multiplayer?

How does multiplayer work?

You can host or join games with up to 4 players. The game scales difficulty based on party size, and loot is instanced per player.

How do I choose my class?

You start as a Novice and can choose your advanced class (Fighter, Mystic, or Bandit) upon reaching level 10.

Can I change my class later?

No, your class choice is permanent after selection. Consider creating multiple characters to experience different classes.

How do I customize my character?

Character customization options are available during character creation, including appearance, race, and starting attributes.

How do I get class tomes?

Class tomes can be obtained through quest rewards, purchased from specific vendors after reaching the required level, or found as rare drops in certain dungeons.

How do I rotate my character in the creator?

Hold right-click and move your mouse to rotate your character in the character creator. You can also use A/D keys for precise rotation.

Gameplay Mechanics

How does combat work?

Combat combines weapon-based attacks with class-specific skills. Each weapon type has unique mechanics and skill trees.

How do I get more skills?

Skills are unlocked through leveling up, class progression, and finding skill tomes in the world.

How do I reset my skills?

You can reset your skills at any time using a Tome of Unlearning, available from vendors in Sanctum.

How does the damage system work?

Damage is calculated based on your weapon type, attack power, and various stats like Strength or Dexterity. Critical hits and elemental effects can modify the final damage output.

Do you need attack power for Bandit class?

While Bandits primarily scale with Dexterity, attack power still benefits their physical attacks. However, focusing on Dexterity and critical hit chance is generally more effective.

How do I get the fireball spell?

The fireball spell can be learned from a spell tome found in the Mystic's Tower or purchased from the Mystic trainer after reaching the appropriate level.

Progression

What is the maximum level?

The maximum character level is 50. You'll continue to earn experience and rewards at max level.

How long is the game?

Game length varies based on playstyle, but most players spend 20-30 hours exploring the main content, with additional time for side activities.

How complete is the Early Access version?

Early Access includes the first major over-world zone, character customization with five races, the quest system, and all core gameplay features. Regular updates add new content.

Technical Support

Does ATLYSS support Steam Deck?

Steam Deck support is currently in development. We'll announce full compatibility when it's ready.

How do I turn off stream mode?

Stream mode can be toggled in the Settings menu under Interface options.

Navigation & Locations

How do I leave a dungeon?

You can leave a dungeon by using the Recall skill or finding the dungeon exit portal, typically marked on your map.

How do I get to Crescent Grove?

Crescent Grove can be reached from Sanctum by following the eastern path through the Whispering Woods.

How do I attune to the catacombs?

To attune to the catacombs, find and interact with the attunement crystal near the entrance. This requires completing the 'Depths of Memory' quest.

Items & Resources

Where can I find illusionary stones?

Illusionary stones can be found as rare drops from certain enemies, purchased from specific vendors, or obtained through completing certain quests.

How do I use dye on my equipment?

To use dye, right-click the dye item in your inventory and select the equipment piece you want to color. Some equipment may not be dyeable.

How do I equip cosmetic items?

Cosmetic items can be equipped through the Appearance tab in your character menu. These override the appearance of your equipped gear.

How do I get the Bunnyhost garb?

The Bunnyhost garb is a special cosmetic outfit that can be obtained through seasonal events or special promotions. Check the in-game shop during holiday events.

How do I use emotes?

Press B to open the emote wheel, then select an emote with your mouse or use the emote command in chat (/emote or /e).

How do I chat with other players?

Press Enter to open chat. Use /w for whispers, /p for party chat, /g for global chat, and /h for help with more commands.

How do I start the Slime Diva quest?

The Slime Diva quest can be started by talking to Melody in Sanctum's Plaza after reaching level 5.

Where is the Terrace located?

The Terrace is located in the upper level of Sanctum, accessible via the grand staircase in the central plaza.

Experience & Progression

How do I gain experience?

Experience can be gained through completing quests, defeating enemies, exploring new areas, and participating in world events. Higher-level areas and challenges provide more experience.

Dungeons & Locations

How do I get out of the Executioner's Tomb?

To exit the Executioner's Tomb, locate the glowing portal near the final chamber, or use your Recall skill if you have it available. Make sure to complete any active objectives before leaving.
